Innospec Performance Chemicals released the newest addition to its Pureact line of surfactants, Pureact WS-70 (INCI: Sodium methyl cocoyl taurate). It is offered as an approximately 20% active material and is available in liquid form specifically designed for ease of handling in a manufacturing environment, said the company. Pureact WS-70 is 85% naturally derived and sulfate-free so it is gentle on skin and hair. It is stable over a wide pH range and provides exceptional flash foam to cleansing formulations such as facial cleansers, shampoos and body washes.
